Ninth Ranked Men's Squashers Top Amherst, 7-2

The ninth-ranked Brown men's squash team earned its first victory of the season with a 7-2 victory over Amherst on Tuesday in Amherst, Mass. The Bears had previously lost to Cornell, 9-0, on Saturday in Ithaca, New York.

Senior Ben Olinar (Brooklyn, NY) came up big for the Bears at number one with a 3-0 victory, winning 9-4, 9-0 and 9-2. The Bears also received a strong 3-0 win from freshman Breck Bailey (Greenwich, CT) at number two.

The Bears were strong in the middle of the lineup with sophomore Sean O'Boyle (Auckland, New Zealand) earning a hard-fought 3-2 victory at number four, and freshman David Krupinski (Philadelphia, PA) coming away with a 3-1 decision at number five. Senior Robert Park (Victorville, CA) captured a 3-0 win at number six, followed by sophomore Justin Wong (Hong Kong), a 3-2 winner at number seven, and sophomore Gavin Watson (Greenwich, CT), who earned a 3-0 win at the eighth position.
