    Blake Reinson Earns All-Ivy Squash Honors Brown senior Blake Reinson (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) has been named to the 2014 All-Ivy Men’s Squash First Team as selected by the eight Ancient Eight head squash coaches. An Engineering concentrator, Reinson is the first Brown squash team member to earn All-Ivy honors since John Reimers in 1999.

    Bears Fall To Middlebury, 5-4, In Summer Cup Finals The Brown men’s squash team earned an 18th place final national ranking by winning three matches in the College Squash Association National Championship, advance to the finals of the Summer Cup before falling to Middlebury, 5-4. The Bears trailed Middlebury 4-2 midway through the match and came back to tie the match at 4-4.

    #19 Bears Fall To #17 Williams, 5-4 The #19 Brown men's squash team had a close 5-4 loss to Williams, coming down to the last match at number one, where senior Blake Reinson battled Williams before falling, 3-2, in front of an enthusiastic and overflow crowd at the Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion. The team pushed the # 15 Williams squad to the limit, as the seniors played their last home match.

    Second Ranked Harvard Tops #19 Brown, 9-0 Brown played its final Ivy match of the regular season on Sunday, falling to second-ranked Harvard, 9-0, in Cambridge, MA. Freshman Alex Baldock had a thrilling match at number five, falling behind by two games before falling to the Crimson 12-10, 11-9, 7-11, 10-12, 14-10.

Senior Blake Reinson captured the lone Brown match, earning an 11-4, 11-5, 11-5 victory at the top position.

The standout match was a come-from-behind win at #2 by sophomore Jack Blasberg, who fell behind, 2-0, early before grinding out a hard fought 3-2 victory.
