Storrs, CT - The Brown men's soccer game against sixth ranked University of Connecticut, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 19, in Storrs, CT, has been cancelled by the Huskies. UConn's game against Pittsburgh was changed to Wednesday due to the inclement weather over the weekend and the Huskies will not be rescheduling the Brown game.
The game would have been the 63rd meeting between the two teams as Brown holds a 30-29-3 advantage in the all-time series. The Bears are currently 8-3-1 on the season and have gone undefeated in their last six games.
Brown will continue Ivy action on Saturday at Cornell. The Bears gained sole possession of first place with a 3-0 shutout over Harvard on Sunday. The Big Red dropped to 2-1 on the year with a 2-0 loss to Yale on Sunday. Freshman Scott Geppert leads Brown with four goals and four assists for 12 points while junior Ben Brackett has a team-high five goals this season.
