Scott Wiercinski enters his fifth year as an assistant coach at Brown. His primary responsibilities at Brown include goalkeepers, recruiting, and the coordination of the adidas/Brown Classic. Wiercinski coached three-time All-New England selection Chris Gomez '05, who was the 28th overall pick at the 2005 MLS SuperDraft.

A 1999 graduate of Middlebury College with a degree in environmental geology, Wiercinski was a four-year letterwinner in soccer, leading the Panthers to four NCAA Tournament berths. He was twice named First Team All-Conference and was also named All-New England.

After graduating from Middlebury, Wiercinski was named assistant coach at Bowdoin, where he helped the Polar Bears to their best record in school history, finishing 15-2-1.

A native of Brunswick, Maine and a graduate of Brunswick High School, Wiercinski was recognized as an All American and a Gatorade State player of the year. Wiercinski holds an NSCAA National Diploma as well as a USSF B License.
