PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Friends of Brown Men's Soccer Head Coaching Chair Patrick Laughlin has announced the team's schedule for the upcoming 2018 season.
Brown's 17-match schedule will feature nine homes games at Stevenson-Pincince Field in addition to a full Ivy League slate.
The Bears will open the 2018 season with three straight homes games, starting on Friday, August 31 against intrastate rival Bryant in the opener. Brown will then play host to George Washington (Sept. 7) and Albany (Sept. 9) to complete the early homestand.
Fro there, Brown will head West for a pair of games to kick off a four-game road swing, visiting California to play San Diego State (Sept. 14) and UC Irvine (Sept. 16), before taking on Rhode Island (Sept. 22) and Boston University (Sept. 25).
After hosting Columbia in the Ivy League opener on September 29, the Bears will visit Princeton (Oct. 6) before a midweek tilt at Holy Cross (Oct. 9).
Brown will play five of its final seven games at home, starting with a three-game stretch when the team hosts Harvard (Oct. 13), Providence (Oct. 16) and Cornell (Oct. 20). After a road game at Penn, the Bears will host Hofstra (Oct. 30) in the final nonconference game of the season, before welcoming in Yale (Nov. 3) to round out the home schedule.
Brown will visit Dartmouth on Saturday, November 10 in the regular season finale.
