Men’s Soccer’s Howell Named Ivy League Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Junior Toby Howell (Bradenton, Fla.) of the Brown men's soccer team has been named the Ivy League Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday.

Howell, a transfer from Marquette University, helped the Bears to a pair of wins over the weekend to keep the team undefeated with a 3-0 start to the season. He registered his first goal as a Bear in dramatic fashion against Holy Cross on Sunday, finding the back of the net in the 96th minute of action, giving Brown the comeback victory in overtime. Howell also added an assist in the team's 2-0 win over Quinnipiac on Friday.

Brown will hit the road for a pair of games next weekend when the Bears visit Tulsa (9/15) and SMU (9/17).
