As a Junior in 2013|Stats : Started 16 of 16 matches, missing just one game due to injury… a Second Team All-Ivy League selection as a midfielder…tied for third in the Ivy League and first on the team with five assists…also tallied three goals to finish the season with 11 points… named Ivy League Player of the Week after scoring in the 105th minute against Penn to lead the Bears to a 2-1 double overtime victory…scored the game tying-goal against Providence to give Brown a share of the 2013 Ocean State Title…also scored in the Bears’ 2-2 tie against Columbia…took a total of 18 shots on the season, putting 13 of them on frame.
As a Sophomore in 2012|Stats : Played in all 19 games, starting six and totaling 705 minutes … Scored three goals, including the game-winner in 2-1 victory over Columbia on September 29th … Also found the back of the net in 4-3 win over Washington and 2-0 win over Drexel.
As a Freshman in 2011: Saw action in 16 games and received four starts, totaling 324 minutes on the season … Earned one point, after dishing out an assist in Brown’s First Round NCAA Tournament game vs. Fairfield.
Before Brown: A three-year starter at the Brunswick School, Taylor also played tennis and hockey … Captained the team as a senior in 2010 … Named to the WNEPSSA Select Team in both 2009 and 2010 and earned WNEPSSA All-Star honors in 2010 … Also earned CSCA All-State honors in both 2009 and 2010 … Also played club soccer for South Central Premier Academy … Personal: The son of Robert Taylor and Edith Cooper, Daniel has one sister, Jordan, and one brother, Henry … Father, Robert, played basketball and ran track at Harvard … Mother and sister are also Harvard graduates … Concentrating in Environmental Studies.
