Providence, R.I. - Senior defender Dylan Remick, midfielder Thomas McNamara and defender Eric Robertson earned National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Northeast Region honors in an announcement made on Monday. Remick and McNamara received first team honors, while Robertson was named to the third team.
Remick, a NSCAA second team All-American and a first team College Soccer News All-American, earned his third consecutive first team All-Ivy nod this season, including back-to-back seasons as a unanimous selection. A CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-American, Remick was also named a 2012 New England Intercollegiate Soccer (NEISL) All-Star.
McNamara, a first team All-Ivy selection, was tied for the team-lead in scoring with 12 points on four goals and four assists. An NEISL All-Star, McNamara started in all 19 games and earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Brown Soccer Classic.
Robertson, another key defender for the Bears, was a first team All-Ivy honoree this season after picking up second team honors in 2011. A team caotain and a 2012 NEISL All-Star, Robertson started in all 19 games and earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Brown Soccer Classic and the Ocean State Classic. He combined for six points on the year on three goals, including one game winner.
