Providence, RI- The Brown University men's soccer team travels to Boston University tonight, Thursday, Sept. 13, for a 7 p.m. match against the Terriers at Nickerson Field.

The Bears arrive in Boston with a 3-1-0 record after falling 1-0 to Fordham last Sunday afternoon.  The Terriers are currently 1-3-2 overall earning its lone win over then-No. 10 Boston College. 

The Bears captured the annual Ocean State Classic title with victories over URI and Providence College, and went on to defeat Cleveland State in the first game of the Brown Soccer Classic.  

Thomas McNamara, Dylan Remick, Eric Robertson and Tommy Arns have each scored goals for the Bears, while rookie Jameson Lochhead has dished out a team-high two assists.   Senior Sam Kernan-Schloss, who ranks fifth in the nation in goals against average (0.25) has started all four games, and has allowed just one goal in 360 minutes.

The Bears boast a 19-4-4 record when playing against Boston University.  The teams have met annually since 2003 with Brown posting a 4-3-2 record.  Brown has been victorious in the last two meetings winning both games 2-0. 

Five different Terriers have scored a goal for BU this season with junior Derek McCaffrey leading the squad with four points.  He scored the game winner against the Eagles and then followed with an assist at both Wake Forest and UConn.   Defensively, sophomore Nick Thomson has started all six games for the Terriers in goal.  Ranking No. 12 in the nation in saves with 28, he has a .737 save percentage and has allowed 10 goals. 

Following tonight's game, the Bears will head to Lehigh for a 1 p.m. game on Sunday, Sept. 16.
