No. 14 Brown Hosts Hartwick College Tonight

Providence, RI- The No. 14 ranked Brown University men's soccer team will host Hartwick College at 7:00 p.m. tonight at Stevenson Field. The Bears enter tonight 7-3-1 overall, while the Hawks arrive in Providence with a 2-9-1 record.

Despite dominating Harvard 25-6 in shots on Saturday night, the Bears are coming off a 0-0 double overtime draw. Senior goalkeeper Paul Grandstrand (Orono, Minn.) picked up his ninth shutout of the season, as his .902 save percentage ranks third in the country and his 0.34 goals against average ranks fourth. Grandstrand has allowed just four goals in 11 games, three of which came against Princeton, the team's only loss of the season.

Junior forward Sean Rosa (Montreal, Quebec) leads the offense with 11 points on a team-best four goals and three assists, while senior forward Jon Okafor (Verona, NJ) and junior T.J. Popolizio have added three goals apiece.

Hartwick is coming off two consecutive 1-0 losses to Adelphi and Bowling Green. Steven Amaya leads the Hawk offense with nine points on four goals and one assist, while Dan Summers has added three goals. Jake Wright has seen the most action in goal this season, starting in nine games and has a 1-7-1 record overall. He has allowed 20 goals on the season for a 2.29 goals against average, and has 30 saves. Also seeing action in Lee Fenner, who has started in three of four games and is 1-2-0 in net.

The Bears have just five more games after tonight, four Ivy League contests and a non-league match against Holy Cross. The Bears currently sit fourth in the Ivy standings with a 1-1-1 record, while Penn and Princeton are tied for first at 3-0, and Harvard is third with its 1-0-2 record.
