Providence, RI- The No. 13 ranked Brown men's soccer team will host No. 22 ranked St. John's at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Stevenson Field. The Bears, who are facing its second ranked opponent of the 2010 season, enter tonight's action 6-0-2 overall and a 1-0-0 mark in Ivy League play. The Red Storm arrive in Providence 6-3-0 overall with a 0-2 record in Big East competition.

Brown is coming off its third consecutive shutout victory, a 3-0 win against Columbia. The Bears began the season with four straight shutouts, and have allowed just one goal during the 2010 season. The defense has been led by senior goalkeeper Paul Grandstrand (Orono, MN), who owns a save percentage (.964) and goals against average (0.12) that rank first in the country. He has recorded a career-high seven shutouts and has 27 saves in 760 minutes of play.

Seven Bears have registered at least one goal this season combining for 15 on the year, as junior forward Sean Rosa (Montreal, Quebec) leads the attack with four goals and three assists. Following behind is senior Jon Okafor (Verona, NJ) with three goals and three assists, and junior T.J. Popolizio (Rexford, NY) with three goals.

St. John's concludes a four-game road trip in Providence tonight as it takes on its second-consecutive ranked opponent in Brown. The Red Storm are just 1-3-0 on the road, and own a 4-0-1 all-time record against the Bears dating back to the 1997 season. Last season, the Bears and Red Storm battled to a 1-1 double overtime draw.

Nine St. John's players have registered at least one goal this season for a combined 20 overall. Leading the St. John's offense is senior midfielder Tadeu Terra with four goals and five assists and junior midfielder Pablo Battuto Punyed with four goals and an assist. The defense has been backlined by freshman goalkeeper Rafael Diaz, who has started and played in all nine games. Diaz has earned two shutouts this season and has allowed nine goals for a 1.06 goals against average and has 44 saves for a .830 save percentage in 766:03 minutes of play.
