      <title>Patrick Laughlin Completes First Year as Brown Men&#x2019;s Soccer Coach</title>

      <description>Providence, RI- Patrick Laughlin completed his first year as Brown University&#x2019;s head men&#x2019;s soccer coach as he was hired one year ago on March 16, 2010.  This past season, Laughlin guided the Bears to a 12-4-4 overall record, while going undefeated at Stevenson Field with a 9-0-3 record.  Brown made its 25th appearance in the NCAA Tournament, as well as its first trip to the Sweet 16 since 2000 with a home victory over Boston College and a 7-6 penalty-kick win in Storrs against UConn.   Seven Bears earned All-Ivy recognition, three were Division I NEISL All-Stars, four received All-Northeast Region honors, and one was invited to the MLS Player Combine.  Laughlin sat down and reflected on the past season and talked about the upcoming year.</description>
