Brown Announces Its 2007 Men's Lacrosse Schedule

Nov. 27, 2006

Providence, Rhode Island - First-year Brown men's lacrosse coach Lars Tiffany '90 wasted no time in challenging his 2007 squad, putting together one of the toughest schedules in the country. The Bears will face an extremely strong schedule with nine of their 14 opponents having competed in the 2006 NCAA Tournament.

The Bears open the 2007 season on the road at UMBC on February 24, before returning to Stevenson Field for the first of eight home games on March 3 against Hofstra.

Brown will play additional non-league home games against Bellarmine (March 13), Vermont (3/27), Notre Dame (3/31) and Hartford (4/20). Tiffany's squad will also be on the road for non-league games at Providence (3/10) and UMass (3/17).

The Ivy League schedule faces-off on April 7 at home against Yale. Brown will also battle Penn (4/14) and Cornell (4/28) in Ivy League home action, and travel to Dartmouth (3/24), Harvard (4/10) and wrap-up its regular season at Princeton on May 5th.
