Brown University senior attackman Jon Thompson (Freeport, ME) and junior goalie Mike Levin (Pittsford, NY) have been named to the 2003 All-Ivy Men's Lacrosse team, earning second team honors in a vote by the seven Ivy League men's lacrosse coaches.
Thompson completed his career as one of the most prolific scorers in Brown lacrosse history. His 137 career points (94 goals, 43 assists) ranks 15th in the Brown record book.
Thompson, a second team All-Ivy selection last season, netted 35 goals and handed out 14 assists this season. He scored a career high seven goals in Brown's one goal loss to third-ranked Georgetown.
Levin led the Ivy League in saves with 192, averaging 13.7 saves per game. A first team All-Ivy selection a year ago, Levin made 17 saves against Vermont, and 16 saves against both Syracuse and Georgetown. He played in 820 of Brown's 852 minutes this season and posted a .552 save percentage.
