Kirk Teamon Named Ivy League Lacrosse Rookie of the Week

Brown freshman face-off specialist Kirk Teatom (Massapequa, NY) was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week after capturing 11 of 14 face-offs (.786 percentage) and picking up a game high seven ground balls in the Bears' 11-8 win over Dartmouth.

Teatom's effort helped the Bears stay in contention for the Ivy League title with a 3-1 league record. Brown controls its own destiny for the league championship with games remaining at Cornell on April 26th, and at home against Princeton on May 4th.

Overall, Teatom has captured 71 of 123 (.577) face-offs to lead the Bears. He is tied for second on the Brown team with 38 ground balls.
