Brown vs. UMass Men's Lacrosse Game Moved To Harvard's Jordan Field
March 19, 2004
For the second straight year, Mother Nature's late winter/early spring snowstorm has led to a change in venue for the men's lacrosse game between unbeaten Brown (3-0) and 16th-ranked UMass.
Instead of playing in Providence, the game between the Bears and Minutemen on Saturday, March 20th, will be played at Harvard's Jordan Field, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Several inches of snow has accumulated over the last few days on both Stevenson Field and Brown Stadium. With both field having already thawed, it was impossible to get the necessary plowing equipment onto the fields to clear the playing surface.
