Despite starting his career low on the depth chart due to his youth and mononucleosis, Jason earned playing time in 2009. Once recovered, his sophisticated stick and ability to pressure the ball put him on the field. But what really has been his biggest asset is his intuitiveness and quest to know more. Jason has achieved a strong understanding of the defensive and riding schemes through asking questions and focusing on his reps in practice. In 2009, he became a member of the Man Down unit about half way through the season, and his play helped us win games, highlighted by his play versus Harvard.
