Two years as a defensive midfielder and man-down specialist has been beneficial for both Jeffrey's development and for the Brown defense. He has been a pillar as the short stick defender on our man down units, keeping our opponents below 24% for the past two years. Now, we are focusing Jeff on the offensive end of the field. His stick has always been his strength, whether with savvy feeds or ground balls. And he has demonstrated a good feel for the offensive schemes, potentially making him very complimentary to a good midfield line. 2009: Played in all 16 games for the Bears...Scored a goal vs. Delaware...Registered three ground balls for the season...2008: Saw action in seven games for the Bears...Scored a goal vs. Lehigh...Also picked-up five ground balls...Secondary School Background: A graduate of Western Reserve Academy where he lettered in lacrosse (4), soccer (4) and ice hockey (4)...Team captain in lacrosse and ice hockey (2 years)...Second team All-MSLA in 2006 and 2007...All-time leading hockey point scorer in school history...Academic All-American...First team All-County League in soccer...Personal: The son of Jeffrey and Betsy Foote of Hudson...Has a brother, Andrew, and a sister, Julie...Enjoys photography...American History and Economics concentrator.
