2008 began with Peter playing only a small role, including just
5 minutes of playing time in the opener against Lehigh. But he used
that time well, scoring a goal in his first college lacrosse game
and helping to kill off several man down situations. As 2008 ends,
Peter can look back on a year that saw him earn a starting position
for the second half of the season with Brown and then go on to play
for Team USA at the U-19 World Championships in British Columbia.
Was there a major transformation in just a few months? While Peter
certainly elevated his whole game, including his ever-impressive
stick skills and take-way abilities, the blame is on the coaching
staff for not playing him sooner. The same mistake will not be made
twice: much more will be asked of Peter in
