3 - Todd Faiella
|High School:||Deerfield Academy|
Selected as a captain for 2009, Todd represents traits rarely found in a man. Yes, most of us work hard and compete to win. But this man does this with such an extreme intensity! Undeniable will! Todd has been asked to play goalie (Career W-L record is 1-0), pick up a long stick, and even take most of the face-offs in the 2008 Princeton game with little training. What he lacks in stick experience, he more than makes up for with his "crush first, ask questions later" creed. Todd may try another position in 2009, as a short stick defensive midfielder. Anything seems possible with him...2008: Made the move to close defense and made an immediate impact on the Bears' defense...Earned a starting role vs. Princeton while seeing action in 10 games... Picked-up two ground balls vs. Cornell and Penn...Took 14 face-offs vs. Princeton... 2007: Joined the Bears mid-season and helped the Bears beat Hartford, making eight saves in nearly 47 minutes of play...Also saw action against Princeton... Secondary School Background: A graduate of Deerfield Academy where he lettered in lacrosse and football... Named a New England Prep All-Star... Named Defensive MVP at Deerfield... Named a Boston Globe, Boston Herald and Patriot Lodger All-Star... A two-year All-American in Lacrosse... Lacrosse team captain as a senior... Personal: The son of Thomas and Sheila Faiella.. Enjoys dancing... Played football for Brown's 2005 Ivy League Championship team...Modern American History concentrator.
