    The Brown Athletic Department, in conjunction with Learfield’s Brown Bears Sports Properties, has announced an agreement with NESN (New England Sports Network) to televise a combined six games for the men’s and women’s lacrosse programs this spring on NESN or NESNplus. The network has expanded to Brown lacrosse after covering two men’s and women’s basketball games this past season.

It’s the first time in the history of the event that the tournament will take place at a predetermined site.

    U.S. National Team head coach John Danowski has named the 23-player travel roster that will represent the United States in the Federation of International Lacrosse Men's World Championship July 12-21 in Netanya, Israel. Former Brown standout Jack Kelly ‘16, the 2016 USILA Goalie of the Year and Senior Class Award recipient, has been named to the team.

    Coach Mike Daly’s Brown men’s lacrosse team has been ranked 18th nationally in the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook Top 25 rankings. The 2017 Bears finished 10-6 overall and were a goal away from earning an NCAA Tournament berth a year ago, falling in the Ivy League Tournament Championship game by a one goal margin.
