Brown's Lars Tiffany Selected To Coach Division I/II North Team At 2014 USILA/LaxWorld Annual North-South All-Star Game
Brown head men’s lacrosse coach Lars Tiffany has been named the Division I/II North Team coach for the 73rd United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/ LaxWorld North-South Games will be played at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD. The Division I/II All-Star game will be held on Monday, May 26th at 10:00 a.m., prior to the NCAA Division I Championship game.

Brown sophomore midfielder Brendan Caputo (Westbury, NY), freshman attackman Dylan Molloy (Setauket, NY) and freshman defenseman Larken Kemp (Greenwich, CT) have been named to the 2014 All-Ivy Men’s Lacrosse team as selected by the seven Ancient Eight men’s lacrosse coaches. All three earned honorable mention All-Ivy honors.

Brown Men's Lacrosse Defeats Dartmouth on Senior Day, 12-8
Providence, R.I. - Brown closed out its 2014 men's lacrosse season with a 12-8 win over Dartmouth, earning its second straight winning season with an 8-6 record. Freshman Dylan Molloy (Setauket, NY) paced the Bears (8-6, 2-4 Ivy) with four goals, while Brendan Rotanz scored two goals for the Big Green (1-10, 0-6 Ivy). Eight Brown seniors, who were playing their final game, were honored in pre-game ceremonies: Tommy Capone (Watertown, NY), Stephen Chmil (Garden City, NY), Sam Hurster (St. Louis, MO), Daniel Mellynchuk West Sayville, NY), Philip Pierce (Greenwich, CT), Will Round (Mtl Lebanon, PA), Peter Vivonetto (Rocky Point, NY) and Brady Williams (New York, NY).

Brown Laxers Host Dartmouth On Senior Day
Coming off a win over #15 Bryant, the Brown men’s lacrosse team closes out its 2014 season on Saturday, April 26, hosting the Dartmouth at Stevenson Field, with face-off scheduled for 2 pm. Brown’s eight seniors will be recognized in pre-game ceremonies, starting at 1:50 pm. Brown fans can also watch all the action live on the Ivy League Digital Network with Mike Rubin calling the play and Mike Mancuso providing the analysis.

Brown opened a 9-2 lead at the half and held off a late Bryant challenge to earn a 13-11 win over the Bulldogs in a non-league game at Stevenson Field, capturing the Ocean State Cup for the second straight season in the battle of Rhode Island lacrosse supremacy. Bears’ freshman Dylan Molloy (Setauket, NY) scored a career high five goals and handed out an assist to lead all scorers.

Lars Tiffany Named Speaker at 2014 US Lacrosse National Convention
US Lacrosse has named Brown University men’s lacrosse head coach Lars Tiffany '90 a speaker at the US Lacrosse National Convention, presented by Champion. Tiffany will join roughly 200 of the sport’s best coaches and officials as presenters at the largest professional development event in the world for lacrosse coaches, officials and administrators Jan. 10-12, 2014, in Philadelphia.

Head coach Lars Tiffany and the Brown men’s lacrosse team held its Annual Team Awards Banquet on Saturday, October 19, honoring the team award winners from the 2013 season and announcing the 2014 Brown lacrosse captains. Tiffany announced that senior attackman Sam Hurster (St. Louis, MO), senior middy Dan Mellynchuk (West Sayville, NY), senior defenseman Phil Pierce (Greenwich, CT) and senior defender Peter Vivonetto (Rocky Point, NY) have been named captains of the 2014 Brown men’s lacrosse team.

Brown Scrimmages Unite Unique Trio of Teams
Ten years ago, Chazz Woodson was a Brown student-athlete when he learned about the concept of Sankofa at a church service. The term roughly translates into the idea that "it's not taboo to go back and reclaim what you've forgotten," he said. On Friday, a decade later, Woodson and fellow professional lacrosse player Kyle Harrison showcased that concept on the field via their brainchild, the Sankofa Lacrosse Alliance, which hopes to better connect all levels of lacrosse players while especially focusing on connections among black players.

The world’s greatest Black lacrosse players will come together at Brown University under the banner of the Sankofa Lacrosse Alliance to promote academic, professional and social achievement for the next generation of lacrosse players. Brown Lacrosse Class of 2017
Brown lacrosse coach Lars Tiffany has introduced the Brown Lacrosse Class of 2017, with 10 student-athletes arriving on College Hill in September 2013. This year’s talented class includes nine first-year players and a transfer, who are standouts on the playing field and in the classroom.
