There is an emerging junior defenseman in the program, a man who is a product of physical diligence and schematic development. Will’s personal quest to improve his strength while maintaining his weight has shaped him into a more complete athlete: for two years Will has made significant progress with both the weight room and his running. With the loss of 3 key defensemen, Will now stands poised to take over a starting role. If the fall is a good indicator, he has earned the spot. Developing a more commanding voice will be his new quest as a critical member of the defense. Will has been an outstanding Man Down defender for us in the past and is one of the savviest wielders of the long stick...2013: Played in 13 games for the Bears...Picked-up six ground balls...2012: Saw action in 14 games…Picked-up 10 ground balls, including a season high four ground balls vs. Princeton…Secondary School Background: A graduate of Deerfield Academy, where he lettered in lacrosse (3), squash (3) and football (2)…2011- captained an undefeated lacrosse team and New England champion, two-year starter and co-New England Champion his sophomore year, Senior East-West New England All-Star game, Played in the Under Armour Underclassmen Game for New England… Squash: 3 year letter winner, Ranked 3rd in New England at his position as a sophomore.
