An athletic, inquisitive young defenseman, JJ brings a wealth of talent to the program. He has superior speed, allowing him to wreak havoc in the middle of the field as he hunts the ball carrier. JJ is also a quick study, having made tremendous strides already in his first year with us. At the outset of the Fall program, our staff assumed JJ was a year away from helping us on the field. But the weight room has become an ally of his and he is starting to grasp the defensive slide schemes. JJ is making positive strides in many areas and will likely have his chances this Spring to earn valuable playing time as a long-stick midfielder...Secondary School Background: Lacrosse: 4 Varsity Letters…started in every game for all 4 years on Defense…2013 - Team Captain…2013 Adrenaline All-American…2013 U.S. Lacrosse All American…2012 U.S. Lacrosse All American…2011 U.S. Lacrosse All American…Football (8 Man Football): 3 Varsity Letters, starter in every game for 3 years…2012 - Team Captain…2012 - All CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) First Team…2012 - Team MVP…Soccer: 3 Varsity Letter…starter in every game for 3 years…2013 -- All CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) Second Team

Why Brown? "Brown excels athletically and academically, offering a good mix of the two. When I stepped onto the campus I immediately felt I would be able to thrive both as an athlete and as a student. I felt an immediate kinship with the team and the coach."
