There is big fight in this man. Corbin excels in the rough-and-tumble action where his heart and tenacious play can shine through. Much has been asked of Corbin in his first two seasons: how many men can say they have stood in the goal and knelt down at the faceoff X for a college lacrosse program? He steps up and answers the call of duty whether on the field or off of it, exemplified by his leadership role as the SAAC co-President. Corbin will compete as a defensive midfielder for us in 2014, a role he performed last year admirably...2013: Saw considerable action in the face-off x, winning 13 of 27 face-offs...Picked-up 15 ground balls...Played in 14 games for the Bears...Picked-up a season high five ground balls against Princeton, winning 5-of-6 face-offs...2012: Saw action in five games for the Bears…Played 21 minutes vs. Hartford, making three saves…Also made three saves vs. St. Joseph’s, allowing just one goal…Secondary School Background: A graduate of Chestnut Hill Academy where he lettered in lacrosse (4), football (3) and Track (3)… Lacrosse: 2008 - Coaches Award… 2009 - Most Outstanding Player, Honorable Mention All-Inter Ac…2010 - Most Outstanding Player, 4-year starter, 2-time team captain (2010, 2011).
