Providence, R.I. - The Denver Outlaws selected Brown senior All-Ivy defenseman Roger Ferguson (Washington, DC) in the fourth round of the MLL Collegiate Draft. Ferguson was the 31st overall pick in the draft.
Ferguson, an All-New England selection, is a long stick middy, who is assigned to shut down some of the nation's top scorers. He picked up 43 ground balls, third-best on the Brown team, and registered a goal and five assists.
He registered a career-high nine ground balls against Yale, while also causing five turnovers against the Bulldogs. Ferguson scored a goal against Penn, and recorded assists against Quinnipiac, Hartford, Vermont, Penn and Dartmouth.
An American Studies concentrator, Ferguson was Brown's Defensive Co-MVP in 2012.
