After a freshman year in which the foal gained its footing and learned the ropes, a bronco is emerging as he yearns to be unleashed and set loose.  Nick has exceptional shooting technique, winding up with great form and uncorking powerful shots at the goal.  And this is no one-trick pony:  Nick's shooting talents are not limited to one hand or to one side of the field.  He has been relentless with his work to have a fundamentally pure motion and an accurate shot with both his right and left hands whether he is on the run or stepping into an outside shot with room and time.  This practice of precision is evident in many facets of Nick's life, as he has earned a 4.0 GPA thus far and in the weight room his form with the Olympic lifts is textbook.  Having earned his way onto the Special Ops attack riding unit as a freshman, Nick was able to gain a bit of experience.  But his sites are set on contributing from the midfield in 2013…2012:  Saw action in 11 games for the Bears…Caused a turnover vs. St. Joseph’s…Secondary School Background:  A graduate of Lake Highland Prep where he lettered in lacrosse (4) and football (2)…Three-year starter in lacrosse, Led midfielders in scoring all 3 years, Captain Jr. and Sr. Year, Most Valuable Offensive Player Jr. and Sr. Year, All-American Senior Year…2008 -  District Champs…2009 -District Champs, Regional Champs, State Semi-Final Appearance…2010 - State Final Appearance…2011 - State Champion…  Football: Earned one Varsity Letter. Academic:  President’s Honor Roll, National Merit Scholar, AP Scholar, national Honor Society member…Personal: The son of William and Wendy St. Laurent of Winter Park…Has an older brother, Alex…Enjoys skiing, boating and diving…Undecided on his concentration.
