The bond created amongst a platoon's personnel is truer than almost any other known unit, forged through intensive training and maintained by necessity.  The strength and survival of the group depends upon this.  Jordan relishes and embraces such a culture of unity, uncompromisingly drilling and competing with his teammates.  Jordan arrived to Brown University a year ago with the primary role as a face-off specialist.  But soon he demonstrated to us that there is more to his game, as he has enough speed to separate from opponents, possesses improving sticks skills and he can release a powerful shot.  Through his determination and willpower, we have seen Jordan continue to raise the level of his play this fall on the field, and his ever-increasing lift maximums in the weight room prove his work ethic is sharply focused.  Although Jordan did not realize as much success as he and we wanted at the face-off X during his freshman year, he is not backing down or giving in.  Jordan only knows how to go forward, staying optimistic and resolute in his mission…2012:  Played in 14 games for the Bears, mostly on face-offs…Took 63 face-offs, earning 17 wins…Picked-up four ground balls…Secondary School Background:  A graduate of Plano West Senior High School where he lettered in lacrosse (4)_ and football (1)…Four-year lacrosse starter…2011: Captain, Team MVP, Academic All American, All District Honorable Mention, Team Face-off Award, Adrenaline All American…2010:  Captain, Team MVP, All State, Team Face-off Award, member of Team Dallas…2009: U.S Face-off Championship National Runner Up High School Elite Division, All District, THSLL North Division II Championship Overall MVP, Team Face-off Award; 2008: Impact Freshman Award. Football: 2011: Played Outside Linebacker and lettered after joining team for the first time as a senior, Academic All State Elite Level, Coaches Award of Excellence.,. Highest GPA on Varsity Football Roster.  Academic: National Merit Commended Student, AP National Scholar…Personal:  The son of Peter and Barbara Schochet of Plano…Has two sisters, Marissa and Sophie, and a brother, Noah…Enjoys working out, sports and hanging out with friends…Undecided on his concentration.
