The leopard is rarely seen, due to a stoic demeanor and the lightly-treaded path it takes, as well as a tremendously quick burst it possesses when necessary. The first step can be deadly, and Shane can deliver for Brown as he exploits an opening before the defense can react. As an offensive midfielder for us, Shane has proven that he can see his teammates while at top speed as he is initiating the offensive play with his dodge. If the opposing defense is slow to support the dodge, Shane has the power on his shot to hit twine and light up the scoreboard. But where Shane is the most dangerous is after a teammate feeds him and the defense is still turning to react. This is where his unmatched explosiveness can be really effective for our offense. In his senior season now, Shane has accumulated the tools and knowledge to be the consistent threat he knows he can become for our program. He is eager to prove it to his teammates and himself…2012: Played in 14 games for the Bears, scoring goals against Quinnipiac and Cornell…Also had assists against Vermont, Penn, Providence and Dartmouth…2010: Played in seven games for the Bears…registered two goals for the season on three shots…Secondary School Background: A graduate of the St. Andrew’s School in Florida where he lettered in lacrosse and football for all four years… Lacrosse and football team captain… US Lacrosse Academic All-American… Two-time First Team All-State and First Team All-League selection… Helped lead his team to four straight Florida state championships...
