Nick Piroli Named Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Week

Providence, RI - Brown freshman attackman Nick Piroli (Black River, NY) was named the Ivy League co-Rookie of the Week for the second time this season for his outstanding play in Brown's 14-5 victory over Vermont.


Piroli scored a career high four goals in the win over the Catamounts.  He also added an assist for a career best five points on the day. 


Piroli is Brown's leading goal scorer with 12 goals on the season. His 12 goals have come on 23 shots, for a shooting percentage of .522. With four assists, he ranks second on the Brown squad in overall points with 16 points.


Brown will be back in action Tuesday afternoon, March 27, traveling to Durham, North Carolina to face eighth-ranked Duke.  Face-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
