    Sam Ford, Rob Schlesinger and Roger Ferguson Named To All-New England Lacrosse Team Brown junior Sam Ford (Reisterstown, MD), senior co-captain Rob Schlesinger (Medford, MA) and junior Roger Ferguson (Washington, DC) were named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association’s (NEILA) 2012 All-New England Men’s Lacrosse Team. Ford earned first team All-New England honors, while Schlesinger and Ferguson garnered second team All-New England accolades. In addition, senior Dan O’Brien (Kensington, MD) and senior co-captain Parker Brown (San Francisco, CA) were named NEILA 2012 Senior Scholar-Athletes.

    Seven Brown Laxers Earn All-Ivy Honors Seven members of the Brown University men’s lacrosse team have been named All-Ivy for the 2012 season by a vote of the seven Ivy League lacrosse coaches. Junior defenseman Sam Ford (Reisterstown, MD), sophomore attackman Sam Hurster (St. Louis, MO) and sophomore goalie Will Round (Mt. Lebanon, PA) earned second team All-Ivy honors, while senior attackman Parker Brown (San Francisco, CA), junior midfielder Rob Schlesinger (Medford, MA), junior long stick midfielder Roger Ferguson (Washington, DC) and junior defenseman Clay DelPrince (Hamburg, NY) were named honorable mention All-Ivy selections.

    Brown Laxers Triumph Over Dartmouth, 10-8, To Gain Ivy League Playoff Berth Sophomore attackman Sam Hurster (St. Louis, MO) scored three goals to lead Brown to a 10-8 win over Dartmouth at Stevenson Field and a berth in next week’s Ivy League Playoffs. The Bears gained the fourth spot in the Ivy Playoffs by winning their final two league games and finishing with a 3-3 Ivy mark, 7-7 overall. The Big Green completed its season with a 4-9 overall record, 1-5 in the Ivy League.
