Providence, Rhode Island - Brown junior attackman Parker Brown (San Francisco, CA) was named the Ivy League Player of the Week for his performance in 20th-ranked Brown's 13-4 victory over Quinnipiac to open the 2011 season.
Parker scored a career high four goals on just seven shots, and added a career best three assists in the win over the Bobcats. His three first half goals helped the Bears build a 7-1 halftime advantage.
Last year, Parker Brown scored 19 goals, fourth best on the Brown team, while adding 12 assists.
Parker Brown and his Brown teammates will be back in action again, traveling to Amherst, Mass., to face 9th-ranked UMass, on Saturday, March 5. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
