• Spring Academic All-Ivy Announced

    Providence, RI- The Ivy League released its spring list of Academic All-Ivy honorees, with 10 Brown student-athletes being recognized. The five males and five females were starters or key reserves on their respective varsity teams and carry a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average.

    Brown seniors Thomas Muldoon (Oakton, VA), Reade Seligmann (Essex Falls, NJ) and Jake Westermann (Setauket, NY) have been named Scholar All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. All three contributed to the success of the Brown team, who captured its second Ivy League Championship in the last three years.

    Five members of Brown’s 2010 Ivy League Championship men’s lacrosse team have been selected to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-New England Team, while a sixth, freshman defenseman Roger Ferguson (Washington, DC), was named the New England Rookie of the Year. Senior attackman Thomas Muldoon (Oakton, VA), junior attackman Andrew Feinberg (Owings Mills, MD), senior middy Reade Seligmann (Essex Falls, NJ), senior middy David Hawley (New Canaan, CT) and junior defenseman Peter Fallon (Baltimore, MD) were each named to the All-New England First Team.

    Five members of Brown’s Ivy League Men’s Lacrosse Championship team have been named All-Ivy by a vote of the seven Ancient Eight head lacrosse coaches. Senior Thomas Muldoon (Oakton, VA) earned first team All-Ivy honors for the third consecutive season, while senior midfielder Reade Seligmann (Essex Falls, NJ) and junior midfielder David Hawley (New Canaan, CT) also earned first team honors. Junior defenseman Peter Fallon (Baltimore, MD) was chosen second team All-Ivy, while junior goalie Matt Chriss (Lutherville, MD) earned honorable mention All-Ivy honors.
