Reality for Jimmy is this: he is a natural leader and a solid defensive midfielder. Despite his yearning for more time on the offensive end of the field, Jimmy has stepped up and been a major contributor for Brown Lacrosse wherever he has been asked to play. His cross-check can stymie many dodgers and he quarterbacks the defensive schemes from the midfield. Jimmy will also deliver the big blow, finishing off the shooter with Brown State style. He continues to be an accurate shooter himself, and he might earn what he is striving for: the opportunity to play offense while keeping an opposing offensive midfielder in the game. Jimmy has been a sturdy, reliable captain for us this year.
