PROVIDENCE, RI - Brown University senior forward Brent Robinson (Pointe Claire, QUE) has signed an Amateur Try-Out (A.T.O.) contract with the Hamilton Bulldogs, the AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens. Robinson will remain with Hamilton for their eight remaining regular season games with the possibility of continuing with the Bulldogs for the playoffs.
The 6-1, 195 pound Robinson has played four seasons for the Brown men's ice hockey team, earning several awards during his career. This season, Robinson appeared in all 31 of Brown's games, leading the team with 31 points (13g, 18a). The Bears' leading scorer in each of the last three seasons, Robinson played 120 career games for Brown, posting 99 points (38g, 61a).
A two-time Second Team All-Ivy selection, Robinson ranks second in the ECAC in power-play points and fourth in power-play goals. In addition, he was sixth with 25 points in ECAC games only, fifth with 15 assists in ECAC games only, second in league power-play points, and fifth in league power-play goals.
