A strong and hard-hitting forward, Volpatti plays with an aggressive mentality and will continue to be a valuable part of the Brown front line, especially during man-down situations. He spent the majority of last year on the Bears' second line.

2007-2008: One of eight Bears to play in all 31 games ... Finished the year with 10 points (4g, 6a), all of which came in ECAC Hockey contests ... Also had an even +/- rating ... Scored his first of the year, the game-winner, in Brown's 5-2 victory over Colgate ... Earned an assist on the tying goal in 4-4 tie at St Lawrence ... Notched an assist against Yale ... Tallied an assist against Quinnipiac ... Posted his first career two-assist game in Brown's 4-2 win over Harvard, assisting goals that gave the Bears leads of 1-0 and 3-1 ...
