Adam Tichauer has gained valuable experience on the blueline during the past three seasons and will continue to contribute this year after a season in which Tichauer was one of just two veteran blueliners.

2004-2005: Helped to lead the defense along with Gerry Burke '05 as the duo played along side three freshmen and a junior with little game experience ... Appeared in 32 of 33 games, earning five assists, all in ECACHL contests ... Also picked up 24 penalty minutes and finished with an even rating ... Posted his first point of the season with an assist at Colgate ... Tallied an assist in 5-2 victory over Yale ... Earned an assist against Colgate ... Posted another assist on the power-play in 5-3 win at Yale ... Tallied an assist in 5-2 victory over Clarkson.

2003-2004: Played in all 31 games, picking up 12 penalty minutes ... One of 11 Bears named to the ECAC All-Academic Squad.

2002-2003: The first member of the Class of 2006 to dress for Brown, Tichauer played in 18 games, finishing with one assist, and a "+4" rating ... Made his collegiate debut in the Bears' 5-1 win at St. Lawrence ... Earned his first career point with an assist on the winning goal in game #2 of the ECACHL First Round against Princeton.

Before Brown: Tichauer spent most of 2001-2002 with the Brampton Capitals of the OPJHL. An Assistant Captain for the Vaughan Vipers of the same league from September to December of 2001, Tichauer was traded to the First Place Brampton Capitals for three players in January of 2002. With Brampton, Tichauer averaged one point per game through the end of the season in April, and through five rounds of best-of-seven playoffs. Helped to lead Brampton to the OPJHL Jr. "A" Championship. Received the Rookie of the Year Award following the 2000-2001 season with the Vaughan Vipers. Prior to playing in the OPJHL, Tichauer played at Upper Canada College for two seasons. Helped to lead the team to a TDCAA and CISAA Championship in both 1999 and 2000. Received both the Manager's Award for Best Defenseman and the Clarkson Cup for All-Around Outstanding Athlete in 2000. Also played lacrosse and football at Upper Canada College.
