Before Brown: Santini spent 2001-2002 playing with Phillips Exeter. Prior to competing at Exeter, Santini was a four-year member of the ice hockey team at Winchester High School (1997-2001). The all-time leading scorer at Winchester High School (since inception of the Middlesex League), Santini finished with 160 points in four years, including leading the team in scoring for his last three seasons. In one season with Exeter, Santini led the team with 75 points, finishing fifth all-time at Exeter for single-season scoring. With 75 points, he also led the New England Prep/ Private Division I in scoring last year. A two-time Captain at Winchester High School, Santini helped to lead his team to a Massachusetts Division I State Championship in 1998 and 2000, and a Middlesex League Championship in 2001. A Middlesex League All-Star from 1998-2001, Santini was also an All-League selection in 2000-2001. The Captain of the 2000 Winchester Golf team, Santini also earned Middlesex League All-Star recognition for golf in 1998 and 2000. In addition, Santini was also named a 2001 Boston Herald All-Scholastic.
