One of the most physical players on the Brown line-up, Macri is a very aggressive player with a forceful check. One of Brown's more experienced defensemen, Macri has been a regular on the blueline for the past two seasons.

2002-2003: Finished the season as the third-leading defesemen in scoring with 10 points (4g, 6a) ... A member of the second power-play unit, Macri notched three extra-man goals ... Led the Bears with a "+13" rating ... Tallied eight points in ECAC games ... Scored on the power-play giving Brown 1-0 lead in 5-0 shutout over Vermont ... Before Brown: Macri spent three years playing hockey at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire. He captained the team during the 1999-2000 season and was voted MVP by his peers at the conclusion of the season. In addition, Macri was a second-team All-Star defenseman for Hockey Night in Boston as a senior. He was member of the 1998-1999 New England Division I Prep School Championship team and finished the 1999-2000 season with 10 goals and 21 assists. Macri was also a member of the men's crew for three years, serving as captain his senior year. He was the 1999-2000 recipient of the Yale Cup at Phillips Exeter, given to the graduating senior who exemplifies character and leadership in athletics and academics.
