2004-2005: One of five Bears to play in all 33 games ... Posted 1-2-3 numbers on the season with 24 penalty minutes and a "+3" rating ... Notched his first career point with an assist in 5-2 win over AIC ... Scored his first career goal and added an assist, earning 2nd Star honors, in 5-1 victory over PC, as Brown won its first Mayor's Cup game since November, 2000 ... Named to ECACHL Honor Roll after the PC game ... One of five Bears named to the ECACHL All-Academic Squad.
2003-2004: Appeared in one game for the Bears, finishing with a "+1" rating.
2002-2003: Made his collegiate debut against Iona ... Also played Brown's final game of the season, the Third Place game (against Dartmouth) of the ECACHL Championship Tournament, filling in for injured defenseman Scott Ford '04 ... Was on the ice for both Brown goals, finishing with a "+2" rating.
Before Brown: LeCain played for Upper Canada College, where teammates Kevin Kliman, and Adam Tichauer also played. The 2001 captain of the ice hockey team at Upper Canada College, LeCain served as the Assistant Captain in 2000. In 50 games in 2002, LeCain scored 15 goals, while adding 40 assists for 55 points. He earned MVP honors that season, while also being honored with the Top Defenseman Award in 2000 and 2001. A member of the Toronto Sun 2001 All-City Team, LeCain was also named to the Toronto Star All-City Team. A 2001 MacPherson Tournament All- Star, LeCain helped to lead his team to an Ontario Provincial Championship. Prior to attending UCC, LeCain played "AAA" Midget hockey in the Nova Scotia League with the South Shore Mustangs. In 33 games, LeCain picked up 12 goals and 22 assists, while earning MVP honors, League Top Defenseman recognition, and a nod as a First Team All-Star.
