Paul Crosty plays with a dominating presence and provides valuable experience to the blueline corps. He rejoins the Bears after missing the 2004-2005 season, while recovering from a knee injury, and adds size and strength to the Brown defense.

2003-2004: Appeared in all 31 games as a junior ... A part of both the power-play and penalty kill units ... Notched seven points (2g, 5a) as the third-leading scorer among defensemen ... 2001-2002: Crosty played in 11 games for the Bears, finishing with three assists, including one in ECACHL contests ... Tallied his first career point, assisting on the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over Connecticut ... Earned his second assist in three games on the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win at then #9 UMass-Lowell ... Picked up an assist at Colgate in the next game.

Before Brown: Crosty spent 1999-2001 as a member of the Fort Saskatchewan Traders of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. A 2001 selection to the Prospects Team, he finished that season with 5-15-20 totals in 47 games, while adding 200 penalty minutes. He was a First Team All-Star at the Abbotsford International Hockey Tournament as a member of the Canadian Athletic Club in 1998, and was drafted by the Moose Jaw Warriors of the Western Hockey League in 1997 ... Won a Gold Medal in Boxing at the Alberta Winter Games in 1996.
