Men’s Hockey’s Marchin Named ECAC Player of the Week

ALBANY, N.Y. – Tommy Marchin (Algonac, Mich.) of the Brown men's hockey team was named the ECAC Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Tommy Marchin posted five points over the weekend, including a four-point game and a hat trick at RPI, leading Brown to a 5-4 comeback win. Marchin scored twice in the third period to complete his second career hat trick, sparking a four-goal comeback, and assisted on the game-tying goal. He also scored against Union on Friday and has six goals and seven points over the last four games.

This is Marchin's first ECAC Player of the Week honor and the first weekly award for Brown this season. He was named ECAC Rookie of the Week twice as a freshman during the 2015-16 season when he went on to earn All-Rookie Team honors.

Brown will host Bentley on Wednesday night at 7 PM.
