Naclerio Named ECAC Player of the Week
ALBANY, N.Y. – Sophomore Mark Naclerio (Milford, Conn.) of the Brown University men's hockey team has been named the ECAC Player of the Week for the second time this season, announced by the league office Tuesday morning.
Naclerio registered four points, including a team-high three goals, to lead Brown to a 1-0-1 showing over the weekend. The sophomore notched a pair of third-period goals in Friday's draw at No. 16 Denver, first scoring on the power play and then netting the game-tying tally midway through the period. On Saturday, he added a goal and an assist to help the Bears to a 4-2 victory over Colorado College. Naclerio leads the Bears with 18 points and eight goals this season.
Naclerio was previously named the ECAC Player of the Week on Oct. 29, 2013, after recording seven points in a pair of games at the Liberty Hockey Invitational.
