PROVIDENCE, RI – The bracket for the 2013 NCAA Men's Hockey Tournament was announced on Sunday night and the Dunkin' Donuts Center will host the Tournament's #1 overall seed, Quinnipiac (27-7-5), along with ECAC Champion, Union (21-12-5), Atlantic Hockey Champion, Canisius (19-18-5), and Boston College (22-11-4), which earned an At-Large selection.
The Bobcats, which earned an At-Large selection, will face off against fourth-seeded Canisius in the first semi-final, slated for 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 30th. Second-seeded Boston College will meet third-seeded Union in the second semi-final, scheduled for 9:00 p.m. on Saturday night. Winners of the two semi-final games will meet in the East Regional Final on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. to battle for a spot in the 2013 Frozen Four.
Other selections to the 2013 NCAA Men's Hockey Tournament include: Minnesota (2nd overall seed), UMass-Lowell (3rd overall seed), Notre Dame (4th overall seed), Miami Ohio, Minnesota State, St. Cloud State, Wisconsin, Denver, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Niagara and Yale.
