Golfers Place 14th At Yale Invitational

New Haven, Conn. - With just two upperclassmen in the lineup, Brown's men's golf team placed 14th at the 18 team Yale Fall Invitational, shooting scores of 336-334-301--971 over two days at the Yale Golf Club. Binghamton captured the tournament championship with a sizzling three round 904.
The Bears were led by junior Larry Haertel (Greenwich, CT), last year's Ivy League Champion, who carded scores of 81-83-78--242 to place 50th individually. Sophomores Conor Malloy (Rye, NY) and Chris Hoffman (Solon, OH) each shot a three-round 244 with Malloy scooting 82-84-78, and Hoffman carding scores of 94-81-69. Hoffman's 69 was the second low score of the day.
Bears' freshman John Giannuzzi (Wellesley, MA) shot a three-round 250 on scores of 88-86-76, while junior Ryan Larson (Seattle, WA) came in at 257 on scores of 85-86-86.
