 Brown University sophomore Michael Amato has been named to the Division I All-New England Team by the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association. Amato earned the honor by finishing in the top six at the NEIGA Championship held at the Captains Course in Brewster, Mass. (MORE)  Bears Place 7th at New England Intercollegiate Championship A strong second day 309 lifted the Brown men's golf team to a 7th place finish at the 74th Annual New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship, held at the par 72 Captains Course on Cape Cod, Mass. The Bears shot a two-day 627 (318, 309) to finish seventh in the 42-team field. Bears' sophomore Michael Amato placed 8th individually in the 211 player field. Bryant earned the team championship with a two round 604, shooting 291 to come from behind on the final day.
