Bears Finish Play At Princeton Invitational

Princeton, N.J. –Brown's men's golf team placed 13th at the Princeton Invitational with a 54-hole 914, including a final round score of 291 at the par 71, 6380 yard Springdale Golf Club.

 

Bears' senior captain Connor Lynch shot a sensational two-under par 69 on the final day of play, posting a 54-hole 224 on scores of 79-76-69 to place 40th individually.

 

Seton Hall came from behind on the final day, shooting 276 to win the team championship at 853, followed by Harvard (858), Princeton (862), Minnesota (869), Yale (873), Georgetown (875), Rutgers (875), Cornell (878), Columbia (881), St. Joseph's (896), Penn (897), Temple (899), Brown (914) and Rider (916).

 

Junior Kevin Li posted a three-round 229 after shooting 75-79-75, while freshman Kenneth Li shot 81-77-72—230.

 

Junior Sam Lafferty joined the Brown team following the ice hockey season and shot 79-77-76—232 in his first competition of the season. Senior Chad Carlson came in at 237 on rounds of 82-80-75—237.

 

The Bears are back in action next Saturday, April 15 at the Yale Invitational.
