Bears 22nd At Philadelphia Big 5 Invitational

Plymouth Meeting, PA -  Playing its fourth tournament of the fall season, Brown traveled just outside Philadelphia and finished 22nd with a 36-hole 648 at the Philadelphia Big 5 Invitational at the Plymouth Country Club.

 

Dartmouth captured the team championship with a two-round 578, followed by Campbell (584), Furman (586), St. John's (587), Penn (587), Binghamton (594), Francis Marion (595), temple (596), Navy (598), Villanova (599), Harvard (601), Fordham (602), Princeton (602), Yale (604), Cornell (604), Towson (605), George Mason (608), Drexel (624), LaSalle (634), St. Joe's (642) and Brown (648).

 

Junior captain JD Ardell paced the Bears with a 36-hole 154 on rounds of 75-79.  Freshman Justin Miller, who has been impressive in the fall, came in at 161 (82-79). 

 

Freshman Jon Greb shot 85-79-164, while junior Jack Mylott carded 87-85—172.  Senior Ryan Hoskins also scored for the Bears, shooting 84-89—173.

 

The Bea will complete their fall season on October 15-16 at the Northeast Invitational at Shelter Harbor Country Club in Westerly, Rhode Island.
