Paul Raymond Named CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Second Team Academic All-America

Providence, RI - Brown senior wideout Paul Raymond (Miami, FL) has been named a CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Second Team Academic All-American. The teams were chosen in a national vote by the members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Raymond, an economics major, etched his name into the Brown record book, finishing sixth in career receiving yards (1,800 yards) and sixth in career receptions with 116. He ranked second in the Ivy League and ninth in the nation with 97.8 receiving yards per game. His 978 receiving yards rank eighth in the Brown record book. The best day of his career came against URI, when he made six receptions for 221 yards, the fourth-best receiving day (receiving yards) in the Brown record book. Raymond also returned five kickoffs for 102 yards vs. URI, giving him 323 all-purpose yards, fifth-best in Ivy League history and the highest total since 1991.
