Brown's Sean Jensen Named Ivy League Special Teams Player of the Week

Nov. 7, 2001

Senior Sean Jensen booted 3 of 3 field goals, and 4 of 4 extra points in Brown's 37-34 victory over Yale last week and was named the Ivy League Special Teams Player of the Week.

Jensen, who is 8 for10 on field goal attempts this season, kicked field goals of 26, 24 and 26 yards against the Elis. His third field goal of the day, a 26 yard boot, iced the game for the Bears, giving Brown a 37-27 advantage with 2:37 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Jensen, an honorable mention All-Ivy selection last season, is nearing the Ivy League career mark for most kicking points in a career. He has booted 215 career points and trails the Ivy League's all-time leader, Penn's Jason Feinberg, who kicked for 218 points from 1998-2000. Overall, Jensen is the 8th top scorer in Ivy League football history.
